Nuffield Curriculum Centre

The Council regularly meets with representatives of the Nuffield Curriculum Centre. The Centre advises the Council on the relevance of its Reports to the national curriculum and how best to make issues in bioethics accessible to teachers and students.

Teaching resources on animal research

The Nuffield Curriculum Centre and the Nuffield Council on Bioethics have worked together to produce a range of resources on the ethics of animal research. A workshop was held with teachers to find out what they need to run balanced debates on this topic. The resulting materials are designed to fit into science and citizenship lessons and aim to help students make informed decisions about the use of animals in research.
