Activity 5 - Reducing the impact
This activity asks students to consider ways in which the impact of research on animals can be reduced by introducing them to the Three Rs: reduction, refinement and replacement. There are examples to match with each of these options in order to develop an understanding of what they mean. Students are then asked to draw up guidelines for researchers.
