Ana Hallgarten
Research and Policy Lead (Experimental Governance)
Ana is working on scoping, developing, and embedding a programme of work across the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, the Ada Lovelace Institute and the Nuffield Foundation. Ana joined the NCOB in 2026. Prior to this, she has worked at The Wellcome Trust, the Department of Health and Social Care, and the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority building on her academic experience in the ethics and law of emerging technologies.
