In conversation with Dr Amy Gutmann - video available
On 17th March, the Council held its 2015 annual lecture. Dr Amy Gutmann, President of the US Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues was interviewed by Dr Geoff Watts, science writer, broadcaster and Council member. The video and audio recording of the event are now available.
Dr Gutmann spoke about her career, democratic deliberation and the work of the Commission, including its recent reports on neuroscience and the ethical issues of public health responses in the context of the Ebola epidemic.
