Can I fill in these surveys?

We have two surveys: one for healthcare professionals, and one for others who are not healthcare professionals but have professional experience of disagreements about the care of critically ill children.

‘Healthcare professionals’ include anyone who is either a regulated healthcare professional or a healthcare assistant.

Those with professional experience of disagreements about the care of critically ill children may include the following (although this list is not exhaustive):

  • Social workers
  • Solicitors, barristers and members of in-house legal teams
  • Chaplains, advisors, patient advocates or support workers
  • Charity workers

If you are unsure which survey you should fill in, please contact children@nuffieldbioethics.org for advice.

To complete this survey, you must:

  • work in England,
  • (and/or) have experience of disagreements about the care of critically ill children in England.

Parents with experience of disagreements about the care of their critically ill child can share their views by participating in an interview, which we will be arranging during May and June 2023. If you are interested in taking part in our interviews or have any questions about these, please contact children@nuffieldbioethics.org for further information.
